Bould Consulting, Caribbean Construction Advisory Services (CCAS) and Gerald Katz LLC have collaborated to deliver a specialist seminar titled Managing Construction Risk in the Caribbean, designed to help professionals better understand, assess and manage risk in construction projects across the region.

Held on 10th September 2026, the seminar brought together over 70 attendees from a wide range of professions, reflecting the broad relevance of construction risk across the Caribbean economy. Those in attendance included professionals from construction, development, banking, insurance, engineering, architecture, utilities, real estate industries as well as utilities and various Government agencies.

The seminar focused on the importance of helping industry professionals understand how risk arises in construction projects and how it can be better managed through informed planning, sound contractual structures, effective communication and practical project controls. With a specific focus on the Caribbean region, the session addressed the realities of delivering projects in markets shaped by unique logistical, regulatory, commercial and procurement conditions.

Through this collaboration, Bould Consulting, CCAS and Gerald Katz LLC brought together complementary technical, commercial and legal perspectives to provide attendees with practical guidance grounded in real project experience and case studies. Topics covered during the seminar included risk allocation, delay, scheduling and programming, payment and financing risks, record keeping, claims management and dispute resolution.
